Throughout the class, students will: Master the Art of Auditioning for the Camera: Learn how to deliver compelling, believable auditions that capture a director’s attention and demonstrate true emotional depth. Understand Director’s Expectations: Gain an insider’s perspective on what directors look for in performances, learning how to adapt and respond to direction while maintaining the truth of your character. Develop Naturalistic Performance Skills: Focus on creating authentic, nuanced portrayals that feel real and relatable to audiences, ensuring your performance resonates long after the scene ends. Work on Camera Techniques: Practice blocking, hitting marks, and maintaining strong presence while performing in front of a camera, all while remaining emotionally grounded and true to your character.
